As I sit here on my couch in Brooklyn scouring fashion blogs, I notice the pudge of fat that is currently holding my computer up, and I begin to ponder….
Is there any true way to be a fashionable foodie?
I mean, the list of fashion blogs I read are about neck and neck with my foodie file but for one reason or another, getting to that svelte, sexy streamlined snatched body is harder than EVER!
I’m truly inspired by Mrs. Gwenyth Paltrow and her devotion to lifestyle and food but c’mon! Do you think she really eats bountifully? Well, maybe she does…in fact she is tall and blessed with good genes. I however am a 5’3” mesomorph Latin woman and when I eat 5 bites of pasta it shows up the next morning on my inner thigh.
When I’m working out regularly, I can’t lie…I look pretty good in a lot of things. The problem is I’m obsessed with food culture. I read about it, research it, make it and most importantly eat it! When I have free time I take cooking classes, Google new recipes and bookmark my go to food porn sites. My body tingles when I’m out at a restaurant that a researched on EATER and I take a first glance at the menu….
So what’s more important? Sliding on the skinny jeans or sliders on your plate?
One hungry woman
